Created and managed public outreach programs for more than 65 Capital Improvement Projects.
Challenge
The Challenge
EVMWD began an aggressive $110 million Capital Improvement Program in 2007 which consisted of 30 wastewater projects to enhance their water and wastewater infrastructure. With projects spanning throughout the 97 square mile service area, there were many construction and community impacts throughout the program.


The Solution
Our team was tasked with creating a robust communications program to promote the long term program benefits and inform the public of the potential impacts of this capital construction program. The program included content development for multiple channels of communication, public outreach including town halls and presentations, media relations, social media, collateral materials development and a construction hotline.
