The Challenge
American Career College wanted to recognize frontline nurses and staff, as well as thank the hospitals and their executive staff who employed ACC graduates after the Pandemic. Westbound had just weeks to implement appreciation events for more than 450 nurses and staff at a Southern California- and Dallas based hospitals. We also conducted accelerated media outreach given the limited timeframe, social media content generation and government outreach with the local cities and county to secure proclamations.
The Solution
In addition to leading successful events complete with thank Westbound delivered more than 30 media placements, including repeated stand-ups with four morning broadcast outlets at the events and feature coverage with local newspapers. We created an event template to perform this event eight more times in 2021 and 2022 in Southern California and the Dallas area. Most important, the nurses, staff and executives at the hospital expressed deep gratitude to the American Career College leadership. Mission accomplished!
