Experian is the world’s leading global information services company, helping individuals take financial control and access financial services, businesses make smarter decision and thrive, lenders lend more responsibly, and organizations prevent identity fraud and crime. In a highly regulated industry and a crowded data technology space, Westbound is tasked to generate media coverage that establishes Experian’s thought leadership, product innovations, and advances in Generative AI.This involves more than 25 subject matter experts addressing nationwide business-to-business and business-to-consumer audiences.


The Solution
Westbound manages a fully integrated earned and paid public relations program for Experian’s U.S.-based operations, which annually results in more than 200 pieces of coverage that reached an audience of 4+ million. Through Westbound’s efforts, Experian’s executives have been featured in outlets ranging from ABC News, Associated Press, Credit Union Times, Los Angeles Times, MarketWatch, and US News & World Report. A key component of our strategic planning and program was placing Experian at the forefront of the massive wave of early 2024 coverage on Generative AI, where the company has been working for more than 10 years.
