THE CHALLENGE

The health insurance industry is male-dominated – there are very few women that hold leadership positions. Westbound was retained to develop and execute a thought leadership campaign for Jessica to showcase her decades of industry experience, along with her passion for mentoring women within Southern California to increase her exposure and visibility, in addition to connecting her to notable leaders. ​

THE RESULTS

Our team has secured numerous article placements for Jessica on topics ranging from top health insurance trends to the importance of mentorship in male dominated careers. These stories have appeared in influential media that include California Broker, Orange County Business Journal, America’s Benefit Specialist and more. We also increased Jessica’s LinkedIn connections by 39% and increased her overall engagement by 82% year-over-year. Lastly, our team planned a successful 2021 CultivateHER leadership event at California State University, Fullerton where Jessica moderated a panel of female executives talking to women students about their own career paths, the importance of identifying a mentor early in their careers and more.
